Isn't she great??
This is just a small handful, and hopefully some more will come later!

All Hallow's Eve!

I love Halloween.
I don't like the blood, creepy characters, etc.
But dressing up, carving pumpkins, parties, candy, and trick-or-treating...
That I LIKE!

Here are some pictures of the Halloween festivities we had...

Here we are at my parent's house carving pumpkins.
As you can see, Walker and Tait were most definitely in the Halloween spirit.

Now. The next pictures need some explaining.
You see, I was trying to carve a PEACE sign in my pumpkin.  I thought I was being clever in carving the inner sign, and then carving the outer circle.
Little did I realize what I was really doing.
And what did I end up?
A great big HOLE!!

But we had a lot of fun with it :)

I think....that Cameron is trying to impersonate his pumpkin.

Our little family on Halloween!
(2 hippies, a skeleton, and a green monster)
We went to my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate.
We had delicious chili and breadsticks, homemade rootbeer,
and LOTS of candy.
The kids went trick or treating and had the traditional "candy store" where they trade candy.
And the boy had some fun playing super smash brothers.
Overall, it was a wonderful night!

Never enough family time...

Oh gosh.
It has been quite a while since I last posted.  And you can tell because the boys are getting so big!!!
In the past few weeks there have been a lot of events.

Derek got home from his mission service in Vancouver Canada!  We were all so excited to see him and it has been so wonderful having him home.  You'll see in some of our pictures that we got right back to the usual - playing games as a family. Love it.
(In case you're curious, we're playing Rollick.  Which is basically reverse charades.)

During this time, Jenny, Kenny, Heather, AD, and the kids came for a visit.  In other words, we were all together again.  I've missed being all together as a family.  So I enjoyed it LOTS!

The Bassett relatives all came for a visit for Walker and Tait's baby blessings.  We went to the BYU Homecoming game, had an early Thanksgiving dinner, and a little bit of Christmas present opening.  Cameron and I loved having all of them here and wish it could have been a little longer of a visit.

And finally, Cameron and I have been spending a lot of time with our sweet boys Walker and Tait.
I can't even describe the love I feel for these two kiddos.
I love, love, love them!
And I love, love, love being a mom.
I truly have been blessed.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!  I will post more of Derek's homecoming and Walker and Tait's blessing day soon.
And I will also try to capture more pictures with their eyes open and hopefully even some smiles!!
